Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for patients in an inpatient setting as well as across multiple clinic locations.
• Conduct preoperative assessments, reviewing medical history, evaluating risk factors, and preparing anesthesia plans.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
• Administer anesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and manage patients intraoperatively, including vital signs and response to interventions.
• Handle post-anesthesia recovery, pain control, and immediate postoperative care.
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including full-time day shifts, on-call coverage, and weekends.
• Travel to multiple locations to provide anesthesia services across the health system.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Support staffing coverage needs during shortages.
• Comply with hospital credentialing, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Required.
• Active Michigan RN License – Required at time of presentation.
• BLS and ACLS Certification – Required.
• Clean malpractice/license history – Required.
• Experience as a CRNA – Required.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call – Required.
• Visa Status – Must specify; H1B and J1 accepted.
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required.
