Job Responsibilities

โ€ข Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, and medical procedures
โ€ข Provide anesthesia to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
โ€ข Perform airway management and emergency intubations as needed
โ€ข Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to optimize patient care
โ€ข Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
โ€ข Maintain complete and accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
โ€ข Lead and support peers in clinical practice
โ€ข Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

โ€ข Board Certified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) โ€“ Required
โ€ข Minimum 2 years CRNA experience (excluding RN or training) โ€“ Required
โ€ข Completion of Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program โ€“ Required
โ€ข Active Michigan RN & CRNA Licenses โ€“ Required
โ€ข Active BLS, ACLS, PALS โ€“ Required
โ€ข DEA & CSR/CDS (prior to start) โ€“ Required
โ€ข Clean Malpractice/License History โ€“ Required

Working Hours

โ€ข 3x12 Rotating Shifts
โ€ข Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts with opportunity to extend
โ€ข No on-call or weekend shifts
โ€ข Full-Time Permanent Position

โ€ข Expertise in anesthesia administration across all patient populations
โ€ข Strong perioperative clinical judgment
โ€ข Team collaboration and leadership skills
