Job Responsibilities
• Deliver anesthesia for surgical, OB, thoracic, pediatric, and emergency cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
• Administer IV sedation, regional blocks, and conductive anesthesia
• Provide post-anesthesia monitoring and manage complications
• Participate in scheduled and on-call coverage
• Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and code situations
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, OR leadership, and clinical staff
• Ensure documentation accuracy within EMR (Cerner)
Qualifications
• Active Iowa License (or eligible via IMLC) – Required
• Experience with both adult and pediatric anesthesia cases – Required
• 5+ years CRNA experience – Preferred
• BLS – Required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP – Required
• Clean malpractice history – Preferred
• Current NPDB Self-Query Report – Required
Working Hours
• Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• On-Call Rotation 1:4
• Weekend Rotation 1:4
