Job description
Seeking full-time CRNAs to join their team in metro Detroit. Located in Royal Oak, one of Detroit’s most popular suburbs, the area offers vibrant restaurants, nightlife, concerts, and attractions like the Detroit Zoo.
• Outpatient position at Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Reason for Coverage: Short staffed
• Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing up to 90 days)
• Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts (option to transition to longer shifts)
• No call
• No weekend shifts
• EMR: EPIC
• Must be willing to travel to other ambulatory sites when necessary
• Open to H1B & J1 visa candidates
• Not accepting new graduates (Minimum 2 years CRNA experience required)
• Will consider previously board-certified candidates needing recertification
Job Responsibilities
• Provide care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments
• Develop anesthesia plan in collaboration with Anesthesiologist
• Manage preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative care
• Perform airway management and intubations (emergent & non-emergent)
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation
• Provide anesthesia services in OR, Radiology, ICU, ER as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Provide patient and family education
• Precept new staff and students as requested
• Integrate evidence-based practice into daily care
• Maintain regulatory compliance
• Promote professional communication and teamwork
• Represent the health system with professionalism and respect
• Support cost-effective resource utilization
• Participate in community and professional activities
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Completion of Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program – Required
• Active Michigan Nursing & Specialty License (in-hand) – Required
• Minimum 2 years CRNA work experience (excluding RN/training) – Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
• DEA & CSR/CDS (prior to start) – Required
• Clean Malpractice/License History – Required
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) – Required
• Up-to-date COVID & Flu Vaccinations (or willing to obtain) – Required
• Must maintain certification status
• Willingness to travel to ambulatory sites – Required
Working Hours
• 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekends
• Outpatient ASC schedule
