We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a high-volume surgical hospital in Southwest Georgia. This opportunity offers consistent weekday coverage, a collaborative care team model under anesthesiologist medical direction, and exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties.

This role is ideal for local CRNAs seeking steady work with predictable scheduling.

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures

Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans

Monitor patients during procedures and recovery

Perform regional anesthesia techniques as appropriate

Document care in EPIC

Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe patient outcomes

Qualifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), NBCRNA board certified

Active Georgia RN and APRN licenses (must already be licensed)

ACLS, BLS, and PALS required

Experience in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings preferred

Must live within approximately 75 miles of the facility (local candidates preferred)

Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team-based care model

Working Hours

Weekday coverage only (Monday–Friday)

Shift options available: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts

Typical coverage between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with staggered staffing

No routine weekend shifts — call coverage only

No 24-hour shifts available

Skills

Strong anesthesia administration across a wide range of surgical procedures

Pre-anesthesia assessment and care planning

Intraoperative monitoring and patient safety management

Regional anesthesia and airway management skills

Effective clinical documentation in EPIC

Team-based collaboration with physicians and perioperative staff

Ability to perform in a high-volume surgical environment

Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
