Join an outpatient surgery center in Michigan offering PRN coverage for anesthesia care. You will be part of a dynamic team, performing approximately 20 surgical cases per day and covering a wide range of patient demographics from pediatric to geriatric. This role is ideal for an experienced CRNA who is comfortable working independently, with occasional weekend requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care under supervision of an anesthesiologist.
  • Conduct pre-operative evaluations and educate patients on anesthesia procedures.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures in a surgery center setting.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with a fully staffed OR team.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Active Michigan license (not accepting IMLC or Compact)
  • COVID Vaccine required
  • Must complete Epic training prior to start unless exempt with years of experience

Working Hours

  • Sporadic PRN Coverage
  • May include weekends

  • Proficient in Epic EMR system
  • Strong independent decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience across a range of patient demographics (from pediatric to geriatric)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
