Required Skills:
- Board Certification as a CRNA
- Valid state license (or compact license accepted)
- DEA registration
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- Strong understanding of obstetric anesthesia protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work consistently, reliably, and adhere to schedule
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with epidural management and topping up epidurals
- Familiarity with emergent anesthesia situations
- Prior experience in a hospital-based OB/L&D setting
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- At least one year of recent practice in obstetric anesthesia
- Professional development in emergent anesthesia scenarios
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain or transfer licensure, including compact license if necessary
- Availability to work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, four weeks per month
- Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes OB/L&D environment
- Must be able to reliably work every week; no part-time applicants considered
