A growing hospital-based anesthesia team in Lima, Ohio is seeking two full-time CRNAs to join a well-structured and supportive practice. This position offers strong physician supervision while encouraging CRNA autonomy, modern anesthesia technology, and diverse case exposure in a Level II Trauma Center.

The department includes an experienced team of CRNAs and anesthesiologists working in a collaborative environment with a robust block program and updated equipment. New graduates are welcome to apply. This is a permanent employed opportunity (not open to locums or visa candidates).

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for primarily adult patients, with some well-pediatric cases (BMT, T&A)
• Perform pre-operative evaluations, inductions, maintenance, and emergence independently
• Administer General anesthesia, MAC, and TIVA
• Perform nerve blocks and participate in a robust block program
• Manage 2–3 surgical cases per day on average
• Work across 12 operating rooms including OR suites, endoscopy, open heart, and OB
• Utilize Meditech and Spectrum Anesthesia EMR for documentation
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure high-quality perioperative care

Qualifications

• Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) by start date
• Active Ohio license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required by start)
• NRP (highly preferred)
• DEA (required prior to start)
• NPDB self-query report (within 30 days at presentation)
• 3+ years of CRNA experience preferred (new graduates considered)
• Not accepting locum or visa candidates

Working Hours

• Full-time hospital-based schedule
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible end time based on hours worked)
• 8 or 10-hour shifts preferred; possibility of 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days

Skills

• Independent anesthesia administration and clinical decision-making
• Proficiency in nerve blocks and perioperative management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage moderate case volumes efficiently
• Familiarity with anesthesia EMR systems
• Adaptability in a trauma-designated hospital environment
