A well-established healthcare system in Jackson, Michigan is seeking full-time CRNAs to join a collaborative anesthesia team in a Level II Trauma Center setting. This inpatient position offers a high degree of autonomy, diverse case exposure across the lifespan, and a supportive environment ideal for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Coordinate peri-operative patient care in collaboration with the surgical and healthcare team
• Deliver anesthesia services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Maintain safe anesthesia practices in accordance with clinical protocols
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Follow OSHA and infection control standards when working with blood-borne pathogens
• Participate in minimal call rotation

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) by start date
• Active Michigan RN and CRNA specialty license (or willing to obtain)
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• DEA and CSR/CDS (required prior to start)
• Clean malpractice and license history
• Active NPDB self-query report
• Up-to-date COVID and flu vaccinations
• Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates
• Not open to locum or 1099 candidates

Working Hours

• Full-time inpatient position
• Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour day shifts
• Opportunity to transition to longer shifts if desired
• Minimal call responsibilities
• Credentialing timeframe up to 90 days

• Strong clinical anesthesia knowledge across multiple age groups
• Independent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a high-acuity trauma environment
• Team collaboration and perioperative coordination
• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and manage moderate activity demands
