Job description
A downtown acute care hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking one CRNA for full-time or part-time coverage. Providers may work as few as two days per week, offering flexibility while maintaining access to diverse and high-acuity cases.
This role includes general surgery, orthopedics, healthy pediatric cases, trauma, and OB anesthesia (required). CRNAs will practice within a 1:4 supervision model and must be comfortable working night shifts, including extended and 24-hour shifts.
Candidates will be categorized based on residence within or outside a 50-mile radius of the worksite, in accordance with assignment guidelines.
Start date: Upon completion of credentialing.
Job Responsibilities

o Obstetric anesthesia (required)
• Deliver care within a 1:4 supervision model
• Conduct pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia evaluations
• Manage anesthesia care during night and extended shifts
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Adhere to hospital safety and quality standards
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license – Required
• OB anesthesia experience – Required
• Experience with general, orthopedic, pediatric, and trauma cases – Required
• Ability to work night shifts and extended-hour shifts – Required
• Strong clinical decision-making and teamwork skills – Required
Working Hours
• Minimum 2 days per week for part-time consideration
• Shift options: 12-hour, 16-hour, and 24-hour shifts
