Job description
A major tertiary care hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking four experienced CRNAs for immediate, high-priority coverage. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, with flexibility to work as few as two days per week.
This opportunity offers extended shift options and is ideal for seasoned CRNAs who thrive in a dynamic hospital environment. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience and hold an active Pennsylvania license.
Providers will be classified based on residence within or outside a 50-mile radius of the worksite. Parking reimbursement applies for local providers; outside-radius providers are structured differently per assignment guidelines.
Start date: Upon completion of credentialing.
All candidates will be screened for any 5-year employment gap within the health system network.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and post-anesthesia assessments
• Deliver safe anesthesia management across assigned surgical services
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
• Ensure compliance with patient safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Adapt to extended shift coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license – Required
• Minimum 5 years of CRNA experience – Required
• Ability to work extended shifts (12–16 hours) – Required
• Must pass 5-year employment gap screening – Required
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills – Required
Working Hours
• Minimum 2 days per week for part-time consideration
• Shift options: 12-hour, 14-hour, or 16-hour shifts
• Start upon completion of credentialing
