Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled CRNA to provide anesthesia services in a Level III hospital setting. The role requires a minimum commitment of two consecutive weeks per month for the first three months, with flexibility after that. You will support a care team model, utilizing state-of-the-art EMR systems, and contribute to specialized procedures tailored for patients aged 12 and older. This is an ongoing contract starting August 17, 2026, with competitive hourly pay paid weekly via direct deposit.

Required Skills:
- Valid RN licensure through the MN Board of Nursing
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license in Minnesota
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- ACLS and BLS Tier 2 certifications (required upon hire)
- Ability to work independently within a supervised model
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage specialized anesthesia procedures, excluding blocks, A-lines, epidurals, or spinals
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in tertiary care or Level III facilities
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- Flexibility for occasional overnight shifts, weekend, or weeknight call responsibilities
- Additional training in advanced airway management or sedation techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
- At least 1 year of clinical anesthesia practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Residence at least 50 miles from Abbott Northwestern Hospital (MN is not a compact state)
- Skills checklist completion at submission
- Availability for at least two consecutive weeks per month for the initial three months
- Credentialing time estimates: 90-120 days
- Ability to respond to occasional call duties, including weekend beeper call ($1000 for 24hrs, $700 for 12hrs) and weeknight call ($400 for 8hrs, $700 for 12hrs)
- Willingness to support specialized care procedures, adhering to hospital protocols
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $218.59, along with comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, paid sick leave, licensure and travel reimbursements, and a robust referral program. Overtime opportunities and holiday pay at 1.5x rate further enhance this offer.
