We are seeking 3 experienced CRNAs for a high-acuity locums' assignment, a premier Level 1 Trauma Center in Pittsburgh.

• ❌ Candidates previously employed (W2) with in the past 5 years are NOT eligible

• ⭐ Minimum 5 years of experience strongly preferred (2+ years required)

• 🎯 Must be able to perform all required case types

• 📞 conducts initial screening before interview

• ⏳ New credentialing timeline: 3–4 months (no temporary privileges without committee review)

📍 Facility Overview

• Level 1 Trauma Center

• Medical Direction Model (1:3 supervision ratio)

• RN-only state (no AAs)

• EMR: Epic

• Strong MD support

• Prefer providers willing to also credential at Allegheny Valley Hospital (Natrona Heights, PA)

🗓 Schedule & Coverage

• Start: July – Ongoing (as soon as credentialed)

• Guaranteed: 36–38 hours per week

• Preferred Schedule: 3x12s

• Also accepting:

  • 7PM–7AM

  • 3PM–11PM

  • 14s or 16s

  • 9A–9P

• ❌ No 10-hour shifts

• Minimum commitment:

  • 2 days per week OR

  • 2 weeks per month

🩺 REQUIRED Case Mix (Must Handle All)

Providers must be comfortable performing the full scope of cases, including:

• General

• Orthopedics

• ENT

• Neuro (including craniotomies)

• Level 1 Trauma

• Thoracic

• Cardiac – Open Heart

• Vascular

• Urology

• Transplants

• EP

• GI

• Healthy Pediatrics (10+ months; tongue ties, tonsils, etc.)

This is a high-acuity, broad-spectrum anesthesia environment ideal for experienced CRNAs who maintain a diverse skill set.

💰 Compensation

Hourly Inclusive

🏠 Within 50 miles: $225/hour

• Parking covered only

✈️ Outside 50 miles: $265/hour

✅ Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania License (required)

• Will not accept RN compact license

• ACLS & BLS

• PA Child Abuse clearance

• 2+ years CRNA experience (5+ strongly preferred)

• Will consider licensing candidates for full-time availability
