Locum CRNA Opportunity – Kankakee, IL – Weekdays Only, No Call
A full-time locum opportunity is available for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in Kankakee, Illinois. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive team environment, and a generous completion bonus.
Position Details:
- Start Date: October 1, 2025
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Shift Options: 8- or 10-hour shifts
- Call Requirements: None – no nights or weekends
Case Types Include:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
Additional Information:
- CRNAs are medically directed
- CRNA-to-MD ratio: 2:1
- MDs also perform their own cases
- EMR system: iPro
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
- No licensing candidates accepted
Responsibilities:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Patient consent verification
- Discussion of anesthetic options and risks
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring and clinical intervention as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois license required
- ACLS and BLS required
