CRNA Job Details – Indiana Healthcare Opportunity
- Location: Winamac, Indiana
- Employment Type: Locum tenens
- PRN Dates: Aug 17-30, Sept 14-20, Oct 19-25, Nov 9-22, Dec 7-13. Future dates TBD
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (7am–3pm). 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
- Call Schedule: 3pm–7am; OR call every night and weekend
- Hours per Week: 36
- Practice Model: All CRNA practice (no anesthesiologist supervision)
- Charting System: Medaxion
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Qualifications
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in Indiana or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in general anesthesia
- Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia blocks
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS (AHA required). Enrolled in the IN PCF. Must be NBCRNA certified
- Clear background and malpractice history for healthcare credentialing
CRNA Responsibilities – General Anesthesia
- Deliver anesthesia care for General, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, GYN, Podiatry, heavy Endo. No OB
- Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia blocks
- Participate in call coverage (average 2.5 call backs per month)
- Assist with difficult intubations in the ER as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Medaxion charting system
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team in an all-CRNA environment
