Locum Tenens CRNA Jobs (General Anesthesia) – Minneapolis, MN 55407

Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment in a hospital setting in Minneapolis, Minnesota (55407). Work within a supervised anesthesia care-team model (4:1) with Epic EMR and 24-hour anesthesia aide support. Full-time coverage is preferred for this travel CRNA opportunity.

Job Details (Locum Tenens / Travel CRNA)

  • Position Type: Locum tenens (travel) CRNA
  • Location: Minneapolis, MN 55407 (Minnesota anesthesia jobs)
  • Start Date: May 11, 2026
  • Initial Assignment Length: 16 weeks (ongoing potential)
  • Hours per Week: Minimum 36 hours/week
  • Shift (Day Shift): 12-hour day shift (06:30–18:30)
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour days (primary); 8-, 10-, 12-, and 16-hour shifts may be available
  • Coverage Expectations: Full-time preferred; minimum of 2 weeks per month required
  • Orientation: Paid orientation required (per facility requirements)
  • EMR: Epic
  • Patient Population: Ages 12+
  • Practice Model: Supervised anesthesia care-team model (4:1) with 24-hour anesthesia aide support
  • Estimated weekly pay range: $6,660–$7,020/week

Job Requirements (CRNA Qualifications)

  • Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience (general anesthesia)
  • Active Minnesota RN license (state is not compact)
  • Active Minnesota CRNA/APRN credential as required by the MN Board of Nursing
  • BLS and ACLS (Tier 2 / Advanced Cardiac Life Support) prior to start
  • Comfort working in a hospital environment
  • Ability to document clearly and efficiently in Epic
  • Availability to meet scheduling minimums (including two consecutive weeks per month for the first three months)

Responsibilities (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)

  • Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a broad surgical case mix in a hospital setting
  • Collaborate within a supervised anesthesia care-team model alongside anesthesiologists and perioperative staff
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor patients throughout the perioperative continuum
  • Document anesthesia care and clinical events accurately in Epic EMR
  • Participate in scheduled coverage; optional call opportunities may be available based on department needs
  • Follow facility policies, patient safety standards, and evidence-based anesthesia practices
