Locums – North Miami Beach, Florida, CRNA Openings
A high-demand locum tenens opportunity is available for CRNAs in North Miami Beach, Florida, offering flexible scheduling, a strong OB program, and a collaborative care team environment. Full-time and part-time providers are welcome.

Assignment Overview
  • Start: ASAP
  • Length of Need: 6+ months
  • Practice Setting: Hospital
  • Trauma Designation: None
Schedule & Shifts
  • Shift Options: 8s, 10s, 12s, and 24s
  • Full-Time or Part-Time Accepted
    • Part-Time Minimum: 2 weeks per month
  • Consecutive Shifts Available
  • Extra clarity on shifts: Primary shifts will be in the OR (8 to 10s) but they will need to be flexible in case they are needed in OB (12s and 24s)
OR Shifts
  • 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
OB Shifts
  • Two (2) 24-hour shifts
  • Occasional 12-hour shifts
Practice Model & Staffing
  • Care Team Model: 12 CRNAs / 6 MDs
  • Medically Directed/Supervised: Yes
  • Operating Rooms:
    • 6 Main ORs
    • NORA
    • OB
  • Five-Person OB Team Model
  • OB Coverage:
    • Dedicated CRNA in-house 24/7
    • MD in-house (OB suite & OR)
    • MD backup call available
    • OB coverage: Monday–Sunday (5-person rotation)
  • Main OR Coverage: Monday–Friday
Case Mix
  • Gastroenterology
  • Neurology
  • Obstetrics
  • Gynecology
  • Orthopedics
  • Regional anesthesia
  • Healthy Pediatrics (ages 2+)
OB Program Details
  • Average OB Deliveries: 160/month
  • CRNAs must be willing to work both OR and OB shifts
  • OB-only CRNA locums will not be accepted
  • OB experience required (support provided)

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified CRNA – Required
    • Board Eligible accepted if within 5 years
    • If 3+ years since graduation, a detailed explanation is required
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS – Required
  • 24 months of case logs – Required
  • Clean file only (no legal, malpractice, or pending cases)
  • Out-of-state candidates only
  • Must provide copy of out-of-state driver’s license with presentation
    • No other proof of residency accepted
