Location: La Crosse, WI - Rochester, MN 70m

Position Overview
This position provides comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings, including independent OB practice. The CRNA delivers high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia services, participates in on-call coverage, and supports perioperative operations across multiple regional sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform clinical anesthesia services in accordance with departmental protocols and guidelines
* Administer anesthetic agents and make anesthesia-related decisions appropriate to patient needs
* Provide direct patient care throughout the perioperative continuum
* Communicate patient status and care plans with the interdisciplinary care team
* Respond to airway emergencies and code situations as required
* Participate in call coverage, including weekends and holidays
* Provide independent anesthesia care for obstetric patients
Operational & Leadership Responsibilities
* Assist with anesthesia staff coordination, assignments, and break coverage as needed
* Demonstrate leadership through committee participation, education, research, and quality initiatives
* Engage in performance improvement activities to advance anesthesia practice
* Participate in professional organizations and community activities
Coverage Expectations
* Primary practice location in La Crosse
* Additional coverage may include regional sites in surrounding communities as needed

Qualifications
Required
* Completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
* Master’s degree required
* Current RN licensure per state requirements
* NBCRNA certification
* ACLS certification
* Ability to provide anesthesia care across the lifespan
Preferred
* Doctoral degree (DNP, DNAP, DrAP, or PhD)
Additional Requirements
* Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license required for CAH sites upon hire and within one year for non-CAH sites
* NRP certification required for CRNAs working consistently with obstetric patients
