Required Skills:
  • Valid Registered Nurse license from the Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • Licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Minnesota
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant anesthesia experience
  • ACLS/BLS Tier 2—Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within a supervised model
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including day, evening, overnight, and weekends

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in tertiary care and specialized procedures
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
  • Availability for occasional overnight shifts and weekend beeper call
  • Ability to adapt to variable shift lengths and schedules

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program
  • Prior experience in hospital-based anesthesia in a high-acuity environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Other Requirements:
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from Abbott Northwestern Hospital
  • Supervised practice model requiring at least two weeks per month and 36 hours per week
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing within 90-120 days
  • Willingness to support staff in a care team model (4:1)
  • Commitment to providing care to patients aged 12 and above
  • Flexibility for additional shifts, including overnight and weekend coverage, as needed
  • Must comply with all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements

This role offers highly competitive hourly pay at $218.59, with increased rates for specific call hours, holidays, and overtime incentives. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a generous referral bonus program. Additional compensation is available for holiday work and after-hours call responsibilities.
