Required Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse license from the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Minnesota
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant anesthesia experience
- ACLS/BLS Tier 2—Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a supervised model
- Flexibility to work various shifts including day, evening, overnight, and weekends
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in tertiary care and specialized procedures
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- Availability for occasional overnight shifts and weekend beeper call
- Ability to adapt to variable shift lengths and schedules
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program
- Prior experience in hospital-based anesthesia in a high-acuity environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Other Requirements:
- Must reside 50 miles or more from Abbott Northwestern Hospital
- Supervised practice model requiring at least two weeks per month and 36 hours per week
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing within 90-120 days
- Willingness to support staff in a care team model (4:1)
- Commitment to providing care to patients aged 12 and above
- Flexibility for additional shifts, including overnight and weekend coverage, as needed
- Must comply with all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
