Join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a hospital setting. You will provide anesthesia services for general surgeries, orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, and plastic surgery cases. You will work alongside an anesthesiologist to ensure optimal patient care. This locum tenens position offers a 6-month contract with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM, in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to adult patients for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the anesthesiologist and surgical team
  • Monitor patient vitals and adjust anesthesia as necessary
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

  • Board Certification required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, or at least 1 year working independently
  • State license required

Working Hours

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Thursday)
  • Opportunity for overtime pay

Skills

  • Proficiency in administering general and regional anesthesia
  • Experience with spinals and peripheral nerve blocks is helpful but not necessary
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
