Locums CRNA Opportunity | Minneapolis, Minnesota (Willing to License)

A tertiary-care hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota is seeking experienced CRNAs for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning May 2026. This role offers flexible shift options, a strong care team model, paid orientation, and the opportunity to pick up optional call and overnight shifts.

Assignment Overview

  • Start Date: May 2026

  • Contract Length: Ongoing

    • Initial contract: 4 months

  • Paid Orientation: 3 days (required)

  • Coverage Needed:

    • Full-time preferred

    • Minimum of two weeks per month or commitment to the first three months of the assignment

    • Minimum 36 hours per week

Schedule & Shift Options

  • Shift Lengths Available: 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours

  • Typical Shift Times:

    • 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

    • 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

    • 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

    • 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Call Opportunities (Optional)

  • 8-hour weeknight call

  • 12-hour beeper call on some Saturdays

  • Occasional overnight shifts (weeknights and/or weekends)

    • Not required, but candidates willing to take occasional overnights will be reviewed

Practice Setting

  • Facility Type: Hospital

  • Designation: Tertiary-care facility

  • Care Model: Care Team Model (4:1)

  • Support:

    • 24-hour Anesthesia Aid Department for room turnover and supplies

Clinical Scope

  • Specialized care at a tertiary facility

  • CRNAs do NOT perform:

    • Blocks

    • Arterial lines

    • Epidurals

    • Spinals

Patient Population

  • Age Range: 12+

Coverage Requirements

  • Coverage Need: FTE-level coverage per month

  • Distance Requirement:

    • Must live 50 miles or more from the facility to be considered

Technology

  • EMR: Epic

Requirements

  • NBCRNA – Required

  • Minimum Experience: 1 year

  • Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing – Required

  • Registered Nurse Anesthetist – MN Board of Nursing – Required

  • Active Minnesota license – Required (willing to license)

  • *ACLS/BLS Tier 2 – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Multisource) – Required upon hire
