Overview
As a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will be an integral part of a dynamic surgical team, delivering top-tier anesthetic care to diverse patient populations. You will work at Sacred Heart Hospital, supporting high-volume, high-acuity procedures, with the chance to utilize your trauma experience and anesthesia expertise. Required Skills
  • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
  • Proven trauma anesthesia experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours as specified

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers
  • Prior experience with satellite hospital facilities
  • Advanced airway management skills
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing Anesthesia or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA experience, with trauma and high-acuity case exposure preferred
  • Current state licensure and applicable certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with anesthesia equipment and protocols

Other Requirements
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week between June 1, 2026, and September 4, 2026
  • Shifts may vary between 8 to 12 hours, with mandatory availability for the entire scheduled period
  • No guaranteed hours; schedule may include shifts at Holy Family Hospital (located approximately 15 minutes away)
  • Overtime pay applies after 40 hours per week, calculated on a weekly basis
  • Must hold all necessary licensure, certifications, and be willing to travel as required
  • Candidate must be adaptable to different hospital environments and capable of working in emergent, high-pressure scenarios
