CRNA Locums Opportunity – Huntingdon, Pennsylvania

Start Date: March 2, 2026
Contract Length: 6 Months

Seeking an experienced CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage in a small, community hospital setting. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong physician support, and a manageable case mix with no high-acuity specialties.

Schedule & Coverage

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday

• Hours: 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM

• Shift Structure: 4x10s per week

• Coverage Need: 1.0 FTE

• Patients per Day: Less than 20

Practice Setting

• Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia department

• Hospital Size: 71 beds

• EMR: Cerner

• Patient Population: Adult only

Team & Support

• Supervision Model: CRNA working with Anesthesiologist support

• Stable, well-established anesthesia department

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for scheduled surgical cases

• Work collaboratively with anesthesia and surgical teams

• Deliver safe, efficient care in a low-volume community hospital environment

Services & Procedures

• General anesthesia

• “Bread and butter” cases

• Orthopedics

• Ophthalmology

• Gynecology

• ENT

• Plastic surgery

No heads, no hearts, no OB/maternity cases

Skills & Experience

• Regional anesthesia experience (spinals, peripheral nerve blocks) preferred but not required

• Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years total experience OR

  • At least 1 year of independent CRNA practice

Candidate Requirements

• NBCRNA – Required

• Active Pennsylvania License – Required

• BLS & ACLS – Required
