Locum Tenens CRNA Jobs – General Anesthesiology Travel Assignment (Macon, GA)
We are seeking a locum tenens CRNA for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. Macon offers an easy-to-navigate mid-sized city feel with convenient access to dining, parks, and local events in and around the downtown area.
Job Details (Travel CRNA – Macon, GA)
- Location: Macon, GA
- Position Type: Travel / Locum Tenens (Contract)
- Start Date: 01/22/2026 (as soon as credentialed)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: Day shift; 7:00am–3:00pm or 7:00am–5:00pm (4x8s or 4x10s)
- Overtime: Not expected, but may be offered
- Call: No in-house call; no pager call (weeknight/weekend)
- Charting System: Epic (EMR)
- Clinical Environment: 26 anesthesia rooms; physician supervision with an approximate 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio
- Case Mix: General, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Pediatrics
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $6,190–$6,520
Job Requirements (CRNA / Nurse Anesthetist)
- Experience: No minimum years of experience required
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certification: Current certification/recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Credentialing: Ability to complete privileging/credentialing requirements (estimated timeframe up to ~120 days)
Responsibilities (General Anesthesiology)
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Obtain and/or verify informed consent and educate patients on anesthetic options, risks, and expectations
- Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia across a broad surgical case mix
- Continuously monitor, document, and respond to patient physiological status and anesthetic response
- Recognize and manage perioperative complications and perform clinical interventions as needed
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to support safe, efficient OR flow
