CRNA Job Details – Chattanooga, Tennessee
- Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee (37404) – Explore the vibrant Tennessee Valley and its thriving healthcare community
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens CRNA (Travel healthcare job)
- Duration: 45 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-16 hour shifts (weeknights/weekends available)
- Case Types: General anesthesia, neuro anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia
- Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 18
- Charting System: Paper charting
- Supervision: Independent CRNA practice (no MD supervision – autonomous role)
CRNA Qualifications
- Active registered nurse license (RN) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Minimum 1 year of recent CRNA experience preferred
- Willing to obtain Tennessee RN and CRNA licensure if not currently held
CRNA Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and manage emergence from anesthesia for general, neuro, and orthopedic cases
- Monitor and document patients’ physiological status throughout surgical procedures
- Provide clinical interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgical and perioperative healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
