This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CRNA to work in a large, well-supported medical center with exposure to both the main OR and ambulatory surgery centers. The department offers consistency, flexibility in scheduling, and a strong care team model—ideal for travelers seeking a stable, high-volume assignment.

15 Anesthesiologists

Cases: General, GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular

Patient Volume: ~150 anesthetics per day across:

Main OR

Ambulatory Surgery Centers

IR
-
Cath Lab
-
EP
-
OB
-
MRI
-
Ambulatory Surgery Center Rotation

Facility operates three ASCs located in:

Lexington
-
Irmo
-
Northeast Columbia
-

Providers must be willing to rotate to any ASC
-
Expect travel to an ASC up to once per week (occasionally twice)
-
If cases end early at an ASC, provider may:
-
Finish shift onsite or
-
Return to the main hospital to complete the shift

Clinical Details

Patient Population: Adult – Geriatric

Very limited pediatric cases (travelers are not assigned pediatrics)

Support Staff: Anesthesia techs

EMR: Epic (highly preferred)

Alaris IV pumps

Draeger anesthesia machines

Regional/Block Skills: Not required
Candidate Requirements

Board Certification: NBCRNA – Required

Licensure:

Active SC license or
-
Compact license (willing to license)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS – Required

DEA: Required

Experience: Minimum 2 years
