• Locum tenens opportunity

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible CRNA

• ASAP – ongoing

• Reason for need: Permanent openings

• Coverage needed at multiple surgery centers

Schedule & Availability

• Monday–Friday only

• 8-hour shifts required: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month

• No call, no weekends, no overnights

• Must be willing to cover all surgery center sites (no intraday travel expected)

Candidates must be willing to work 8-hour shifts

Case Mix

• General Surgery

• GI

• GYN

• Ophthalmology / Oculoplastics

• Orthopedics

• Podiatry

• Plastic Surgery

• ENT

• Dental

• Rectal surgery

Typical OR day:

• 7:00 AM staff start

• 7:23 AM wheels in room

• Turnover: 17–22 minutes (case dependent)

• Volume tapers after 1:00 PM, but some sites run consistently until 7:00–11:00 PM

Practice Model & Environment

• CRNAs work under medical direction

• Typical ratio: 1:3

• Approximately 5 locations with 14 anesthetizing sites

• Physicians also run some rooms independently

• Anesthesia tech support at most locations

Procedures

• Epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks not required

• CRNAs may perform spinals and blocks if they demonstrate competency and obtain privileges

Requirements

• Board certified or truly board eligible CRNA

• Active Pennsylvania license preferred, but will consider those needing to obtain one (if availability aligns with needs)
