Job description
We are seeking a CRNA for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Boise, Idaho, providing continuous coverage at a hospital-based practice. The facility prefers 6-month to 1-year contracts and is only considering providers available for full-time schedules. Please see details below:
• Continuous full-time coverage required (40 hours/week)
• Contract length: 6 months to 1 year preferred
• Facility requires coverage for 8-, 10-, 12-hour shifts, plus one 24-hour + one 16-hour shift per week
• No block scheduling
• Schedules provided 6 weeks at a time
• Patient population: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric (90%+ age 12+)
• Department includes 17 main ORs, 7 DSC ORs, plus cath labs, endo, IR, radiology
• Supervision-based anesthesia model (max 4:1)
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital size: 378 beds

Job Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively within a care team model
• Manage a broad case mix including Level II Trauma cases
• Perform spinal anesthesia; occasional arterial lines (not required)
Case Mix & Skills Required
• GYN, General Surgery, Ortho, Spine, Crani, Plastics
• Lungs, Healthy Peds, Eye, GI
• Structural Heart, EP, Endo, Interventional Radiology, MRI
• No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB
• CRNAs do not perform regional blocks, epidurals, or central lines
Qualifications
• Active or eligible state license (licensing assistance available)
• DEA & CSR required
• Minimum 1 year experience (may consider 6 months)
Working Hours
• Shifts vary weekly between 8s, 10s, and 12s
• Required 24-hour + 16-hour shift each week
• Call required:
1 weekend call shift per month
2 weeknight call shifts per month
Skills
• 30–45 days if licensed
• 90–120 days if license pending
