JOB OVERVIEW
  • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

  • Location: Greensboro, NC
  • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
  • Coverage Type: Clinical + Optional Call
  • Coverage Period: April 13, 2026 October 16, 2026
  • Clinical Shift Schedule: 4-5 shifts/week; 3x12, 4x10s, or 5x8s with flexibility required; (Standard shift 7a-3p or 7a-5p) COVERAGE DATES
  • April 13, 2026 - October 16, 2026
  • Monday & Friday Coverage needed
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks with full-time requirement

PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: All ages (no pediatrics at one facility)
  • Patient Volume/Census: Varies by site
  • Case Mix: Broad surgical case mix including general, ortho, urology, GYN, vascular, thoracic, neuro, and trauma

FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Trauma Level: Level I and II services supported
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Office Equipment Available: Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring
  • Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty surgical teams
  • Support Staff Available: Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesia techs, and nursing staff

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 6090 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • General anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures
  • Anesthesia support for NORA locations including IR, EP, Endoscopy, and MRI

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active North Carolina CRNA license/IMLC
  • Board: Board Certified CRNA
  • Certifications: ACLS and PALS required
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience; no new graduates
  • Other Qualifications: Ability to float between Multiple sister facilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide anesthesia services across multiple hospital locations
  • Support a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments
  • Collaborate with anesthesiology teams under medical direction
  • Document anesthesia care accurately in the EMR
