DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Job Type: Locum Tenens
- Location: Greensboro, NC
- Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- Coverage Type: Clinical + Optional Call
- Coverage Period: April 13, 2026 October 16, 2026
- Clinical Shift Schedule: 4-5 shifts/week; 3x12, 4x10s, or 5x8s with flexibility required; (Standard shift 7a-3p or 7a-5p) COVERAGE DATES
- April 13, 2026 - October 16, 2026
- Monday & Friday Coverage needed
- Contract Length: 13 weeks with full-time requirement
PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: All ages (no pediatrics at one facility)
- Patient Volume/Census: Varies by site
- Case Mix: Broad surgical case mix including general, ortho, urology, GYN, vascular, thoracic, neuro, and trauma
FACILITY INFORMATION
- Trauma Level: Level I and II services supported
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring
- Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty surgical teams
- Support Staff Available: Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesia techs, and nursing staff
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 6090 days
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- General anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures
- Anesthesia support for NORA locations including IR, EP, Endoscopy, and MRI
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active North Carolina CRNA license/IMLC
- Board: Board Certified CRNA
- Certifications: ACLS and PALS required
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience; no new graduates
- Other Qualifications: Ability to float between Multiple sister facilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide anesthesia services across multiple hospital locations
- Support a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments
- Collaborate with anesthesiology teams under medical direction
- Document anesthesia care accurately in the EMR
