Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services exclusively within a hospital’s OB/L&D department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia, managing emergent situations, and supporting patient care in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This full-time role requires consistent availability, with a Monday through Friday schedule, ensuring stability and predictable hours. Starting on April 13, 2026, this 6-month contract offers an excellent platform to showcase your expertise and broaden your experience.

Required Skills:
  • Valid CRNA certification and state license (or compact license accepted)
  • DEA registration
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
  • Proficiency in anesthesia administration and patient management
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergent situations, with a focus on urgent rather than stat emergencies
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Previous experience in obstetric anesthesia or L&D settings
  • Knowledge of epidural management and epidural top-up procedures
  • Experience working in a hospital-based anesthesia practice

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing with anesthesia specialization
  • At least one year of relevant clinical practice in obstetric anesthesia
  • Current licenses and certifications up to date

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to obtain licensure if necessary
  • Ability to work every week in a full-time capacity (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Credentialing process completion typically within 60-90 days
  • Travel and licensure reimbursement as applicable
  • Shift specifics: 8-hour day shift, working 5 days per week (Monday-Friday, 07:00 – 15:00)

Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $218.40.
