Locum CRNA – West Columbia, South Carolina

RecruitWell is partnering with a hospital-based Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina to identify an experienced CRNA for a dedicated OB/L&D locum assignment. This is a full-time, consistent schedule opportunity with no part-time consideration.

Coverage & Schedule

• Start Date: Flexible

• Contract Length: 6 months preferred

• Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 40-hour work week required

  • Must be available every week (4 weeks per month)

  • No part-time candidates considered

• Geographic Restriction:

  • 50-mile radius rule – no local candidates

Practice Details

• Practice Setting: Hospital – Medical Center

• Department: OB/L&D only

• Clinical Focus:

  • Medical direction model

  • CRNA will not perform spinals

  • Will occasionally top off epidurals en route to C-section

  • Emergent cases are infrequent, typically urgent rather than true stat

• Patient Population: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: NBCRNA – Required

• License:

  • Active South Carolina license required

  • Compact license accepted

  • Willing to license if provider holds a compact license

• Experience: Minimum 1 year CRNA experience

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS – Required

Credentialing

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
