A large multi-site hospital system in San Diego, California is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ASAP locum tenens assignment. This is a high-paying, night-shift opportunity with no call and a diverse surgical case mix.

Job Summary

• Job Type: Locum Tenens

Schedule

• Coverage: Monday–Sunday
• Shift Options:
  • 4×10-hour night shifts (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • OR 3×12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Includes 30-minute lunch
• Call: None
• Flexibility required

Clinical Details

• Must float between multiple hospital sites (not same day)
• Case Mix: Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Spinals, GYN
• No OB
• Healthy pediatric cases (ages 1+)
• Care Model: Care Team (CRNA under anesthesiologist supervision)

Support & EMR

• Full OR and anesthesia support staff
• High-volume operating rooms with expansion underway
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Active CRNA state license (must be in hand)
• Board Certified CRNA
• Independent practice experience required
• Comfortable with spinals and pediatric anesthesia (age 1+)
• Vaccination preferred

Credentialing

• Estimated 90-day credentialing timeframe after completed application
