- Number of licensed beds: 101-200
- Average daily census: Less than 51
- Number of surgical cases per year: 3,001-4,000
- Number of OB deliveries per year: 301-400
- Call: Yes, Every EIGHTH night FIRST call
- Procedures: General, Peds, ENT, Ortho, OB, Urology, some endovascular, DI, vascular
- Specialty Cases: No cardiac, no neuro (except CEA's), no backs
- Regional Anesthesia: Always
- Preop Screening: Sometimes
- Orthopedic Anesthesia: Always
- Acute Pain Service: Usually
- Spinal Anesthesia: Always
- Central Venous Catheters: Always
- Lumbar Epidural Catheters: Always
- Arterial Catheters: Always
- Axillary Brachial Plexus Blocks: Always
- Other Regional Anesthesia Blocks: Always
Requirements
- State License: Minnesota or ILMC
- NBCRNA Certification
- ACLS, PALS
- New Graduates: Acceptable
