Join our team as a Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Ionia, MI, and provide essential anesthesia care in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently with remote supervision, delivering high-quality anesthesia services across diverse patient populations, from pediatric to geriatric, in both operating rooms and endoscopy suites.
In this position, you will manage approximately 15 cases daily, including general surgical procedures, nerve blocks, regional anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, and ventilation management. You will enjoy a weekday schedule (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) with no on-call responsibilities, covering vacation needs as scheduled. The facility boasts a Level 4 trauma designation, with a patient volume of 16,000 ER visits annually and a well-equipped environment staffed by OR nurses and techs.

The hourly pay rate for this opportunity is $180.90, with additional benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit payroll, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave per applicable laws, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program. Orientation is provided at half the hourly rate, and holiday pay is 1.5 times the standard rate.

Required Skills:
- Current CRNA certification and valid state licensure
- Proven experience in general surgical anesthesia, nerve blocks, and regional techniques
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices and patient monitoring
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist
- Proficient in EMR documentation, specifically EPIC
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric anesthesia
- Familiarity with ventilation management
- Ability to perform local infiltration procedures
- Prior knowledge of trauma settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience, preferably in hospital settings
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing completion within approximately 60 days
- Willingness to travel, with mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates
- Ready to commence duties promptly upon credentialing
