Highlights

- Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- No call, no weekends
- Coverage: Scheduled only
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
- Pay Range: $220-230/hr (call to discuss structure)
Case Mix
- Heavy Ortho (including total shoulders starting February)
- Eyes (mostly topical with light sedation; minimal blocks)
- Mixed Endoscopy cases with MAC
- ENT for pediatrics (PALS required; conservative case selection)
- Blocks required for Ortho and some eye cases
Department Details
- Support staff: Typically 2 providers/day; occasionally 3 midweek
- EMR: HST
- Average case time: 75 min (general), 20 min (eyes)
- Early start: Rooms open at 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM
- Rarely late days; most cases finish before 4:00 PM
Requirements
- NBCRNA
- Active Michigan license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Proficient in blocks
- Comfortable with pediatric ENT and orthopedic cases
