Locum Tenens CRNA - Ionia, Michigan

Ionia is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide independent anesthesia care for general surgery and endoscopy cases. This is a weekday-only, no-call opportunity with remote anesthesiologist supervision, ideal for a local provider seeking predictable day shifts.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• No call, no weekends

• Day shift coverage only

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Operating Room & Endoscopy

• 2 Operating Rooms + 1 Endoscopy suite

• Rooms staffed with RNs and surgical techs

• Average volume: ~15 cases per day

• Trauma Level: IV

• Annual ER Volume: ~16,000

• Patient Population: Pediatric through geriatric

Case Mix & Procedures

Required Experience:

• General surgery (adult & pediatric)

• Endoscopy anesthesia

• Minor nerve blocks

• IV regional anesthesia

• Plexus anesthesia

Additional Procedures:

• Spinal anesthesia

• Epidural anesthesia

• Regional anesthesia

• Ventilation management

• Local infiltration

Supervision Model

• Independent CRNA practice

• Remote supervision by an anesthesiologist

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA (AANA/NBCRNA) – REQUIRED

• Active Michigan CRNA license – REQUIRED

• BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED

• Local provider only (mileage reimbursement only)

• Clean malpractice & license history – highly preferred
