Job description
Locum CRNA Opportunity:
A hospital-based anesthesia service is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative, supervised care team. The role supports a broad surgical case mix across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting.
Schedule & Coverage:

Four 10-hour shifts per week
-
No on-call responsibilities; strictly scheduled shifts

Full-time preferred; part-time considered
Practice Setting:
-
Hospital-based anesthesia department
-
Level II Trauma Center
-
Multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments
-
Approximately 50 surgical cases per day

EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities:
-
Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures in adult and pediatric patients
-
Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases
-
Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia
-
Manage airways, ventilation, and respiratory monitoring
-
Provide perioperative anesthesia care (pre-op, intra-op, post-op) under direct supervision

Respond to emergencies, including intubation when needed

Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Credentialing:
-
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
Requirements & Qualifications:
-
Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
-
Active Michigan license
-
Minimum of one year of CRNA experience
-
ACLS, BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications
-
Clean background and current NPDB self-query
-
