Job description
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide independent anesthesia services for general surgical and endoscopy cases. This position involves weekday day shifts with no call, remote anesthesiologist supervision, and coverage focused on scheduled vacation needs. The CRNA will support a low-acuity community hospital with a mixed pediatric to geriatric patient population.
Dates / Schedule

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

Call Requirements: None

Coverage Type: Vacation coverage as scheduled

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
Job Details & Responsibilities

Provide independent anesthesia care in the Operating Room and Endoscopy suite
-
Manage anesthesia for approximately 15 cases per day
-
Perform anesthesia services for adult and pediatric general surgical cases
-
Work with OR teams consisting of RNs and surgical techs

Level 4 Trauma Center

Annual ER volume: ~16,000

2 Operating Rooms and 1 Endoscopy room

Utilize EPIC as the EMR system
Procedures Include:

General anesthesia (adult & pediatric)

Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia

Minor nerve blocks, plexus anesthesia, IV regional anesthesia

Ventilation management

Local infiltration
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Board Certified CRNA (AANA) – Required

Active Michigan state license – Required
-
BLS and ACLS certifications – Required
-
Ability to practice independently with remote anesthesiologist supervision

Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
