Coverage Needed
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Schedule: Day Shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (8:00 - 19:00, flexible)
- On Call required
Clinical Details
- Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Experience required
- Bed Size: 700
- Patients per Day: Varies depending on location
- Cases: Large Vascular, Neuro, High Risk OB/GYN, Ortho, General, Thoracic, few Peds (locums would not have to do Peds or Hearts)
- Special Procedures: CRNAs administer their own drugs and place epidurals, spinals, and arterial lines. Some Obstetrics, Some Trauma mostly for outpatient surgery. Some arterial catheters, lumbar epidural catheters, and spinal anesthesia. Never Brachial Plexus blocks or other regional anesthesia blocks
- Call: Max 1-2 shifts/month, most likely no call at all. All call is beeper
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Covering 3 sites (one Level 1 Trauma, 2 Community Hospitals). Current staff made up of 30+ ANES, 70+ CRNAs full time
Requirements
- Board Certified
- State Licenses: VA or compact preferred, open to licensing
- Years of Experience: Minimum Level 1 Trauma experience
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Trauma Level I Experience: Required
