Job description
CRNA – Hospital-Based Anesthesia (Michigan)
A respected Michigan hospital is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to join a collaborative, supervised anesthesia team providing care across the full patient spectrum, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This hospital-based role focuses primarily on general surgical anesthesia, with additional exposure to neurosurgical cases and spinal anesthesia, in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
Practice Setting & Scope

Hospital-based anesthesia practice at a Level II Trauma Center

Approximately 50 surgical cases per day

Coverage across multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments

Use of Epic EMR for anesthesia documentation

Collaborative, supervised model working alongside anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Schedule & Coverage
-
Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
-
No call responsibilities (strictly scheduled shifts)

Full-time preferred; part-time considered
Clinical Responsibilities
-
Administer anesthesia for adult and pediatric general surgery cases

Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical procedures

Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia

Airway management, including intubation when needed

Continuous patient monitoring throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases

Ventilation management and respiratory monitoring

Adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
Candidate Requirements
-
Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
-
Active Michigan CRNA license
-
Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience
-
ACLS, BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications required
-
Clean background and consistent work history with no employment gaps
Credentialing & Administrative Details

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
