• Position: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Location: San Antonio, TX (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Specialties: General anesthesia, orthopedic, urology, GI, gynecology procedures
• Start Date: January 12, 2026 (post-credentialing)
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Shifts per Week: 4 (non-consecutive)
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 40
• EMR Systems: Cerner, Medaxion

CRNA Qualifications

• Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a clinical healthcare setting
• Experience with orthopedic, urology, general, GI, and gynecology anesthesia procedures preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Willingness to cross-credential at multiple hospital locations in San Antonio
• Completion of orientation at hub location required on first day

CRNA Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a broad range of surgical procedures in a hospital setting
• Monitor and manage patient status before, during, and after anesthesia administration
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner and Medaxion EMR systems
• Participate in cross-credentialing and orientation as required by the healthcare facility
