Locum - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Locum)

Job Responsibilities:

• Float between two locations, typically informed the day before if reassigned.
• Work 8- or 10-hour shifts, with the possibility of 12-, 16-, or 24-hour shifts.
• Available shifts include later hours (3 p.m. – 11 p.m.) and weekends.
• Perform around 36-46 cases daily between both locations, with 15-20 cases per site.
• Administer anesthesia for neuro, endoscopy, and radiology cases with minimal pediatric involvement.
• Responsible for arterial line placements and working under a supervised CRNA model.
• Ensure a clean background with no license actions.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA.
• Active Michigan license.
• Clean background check with no history of license actions.
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications through AHA.
• PALS certification is required.
• Candidates with full-time availability will be prioritized.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and active Michigan RN license.
• Board Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Proof of current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
