A CRNA-independent practice hospital in Rocky Mount, Virginia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for scheduled and call coverage beginning March 2026. This facility is located approximately 30 minutes south of Roanoke, near Smith Mountain Lake, offering both professional autonomy and a scenic location.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: March 16, 2026 (temps may be an option)

• Practice Setting: Hospital – CRNA-independent

• Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts + on-call required

Schedule

• Day Shift:

  • Monday–Friday

  • 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• Call Requirements:

  • Weeknight call: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Weekend call: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Overtime: Paid after scheduled shift

Facility & Case Details

• Operating Rooms: 2 ORs + 2 procedure rooms

• Typical Daily Coverage: 3 rooms/day

• Case Mix Includes:

  • General surgery

  • OB/GYN

  • ENT

  • Plastics

  • Podiatry

  • Hand surgery

  • Pediatric urology

  • GI / Endoscopy

Clinical Scope

• CRNAs practice independently within full scope

• Peripheral nerve blocks required/expected

Travel & Expenses

• All travel expenses covered, including:
