Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Locum
Join a premier healthcare facility in Lansing, Michigan, as a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Starting January 2026 through summer 2026, you will provide independent anesthesia coverage at the Endoscopy Center. This position supports the department during a period of short staffing, offering a stable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.
The CRNA will work autonomously in a dedicated endoscopy setting, providing Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) and managing 10–16 cases per day. Ideal candidates will be experienced, reliable, and comfortable practicing independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent anesthesia coverage for endoscopy procedures.
- Administer Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC).
- Manage 10–16 cases daily.
- Collaborate with an experienced team within a dedicated Endo Center.
- Maintain documentation using the EPIC system.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current CRNA certification.
- Experience in an endoscopy setting preferred.
- Reliable and comfortable practicing autonomously.
- Ability to work weekdays, Monday through Friday.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified by the AANA (Required).
- Active Michigan State Medical License or willingness to obtain (Required).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (Required).
- Clean malpractice and license history (Highly Preferred).
- Local candidates only; mileage reimbursement available.
