Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Locum
Join our dedicated team at an established Endoscopy Center in Lansing, Michigan, starting in January 2026 through Summer 2026. This locum position offers the chance to provide independent anesthesia coverage during a period of short staffing, with a stable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities. The CRNA will work autonomously in a supportive environment, managing 10-16 cases per day, primarily involving monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for adult and geriatric patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide independent anesthesia services for endoscopy cases.
- Administer Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) for procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.
- Manage 10-16 cases per day within a dedicated endoscopy setting.
- Coordinate with IR support staff to ensure smooth operation of procedures.
- Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in AANA.
- Active Michigan State Medical License or ability to obtain.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience in an independent practice as a CRNA.
- Reliable and comfortable practicing autonomously.
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in AANA (required).
- Active state medical license in Michigan (required).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required).
- Local provider only (mileage reimbursement only, required).
- Copy of the NPDB self-query needed, pulled within 30 days (required).
