Position Overview

A large, well-established health system in Simpsonville, SC, is seeking full-time CRNA locums to join a collaborative anesthesia team. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule with a mix of 4×10-hour or 5×8-hour shifts and home call approximately once every two weeks. Post-call days are typically off, and post-call providers are always first out.

This is a true team-based environment, and the schedule rotates evenly among all CRNAs in the department. Providers must be willing to participate fully in the rotation, including scheduled home call.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a supervised care team model

• Participate in a rotating schedule that includes home call

• Work across a mix of general, OB/GYN, ortho, ENT, and other standard surgical cases

• Maintain timely documentation in Epic EMR

• Deliver high-quality, safe anesthesia care to adolescent through geriatric populations

Schedule Options

• 4×10-hour shifts, 7a–5p

• 5×8-hour shifts, 7a–3p

• Home call every ~2 weeks, including:

  • Weeknight home call (3–5p to 7a)

  • 24-hour weekend home call

  • Call response time: 30–45 minutes

• Almost all post-call days are off

Case Mix

• General surgery

• OB/GYN

• ENT

• Orthopedics

• Bread-and-butter anesthesia cases

• Patient age range: 15–100

• No complex cardiac, no high-acuity pediatrics

• Strong anesthesia tech support

• Consistent weekly scheduling based on block structure

Requirements

• CRNA (NBCRNA)

• Active South Carolina license (not open to licensing)

• BLS + ACLS

• DEA + SC CSR

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Clean background

• Familiarity with Epic required
