We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. Starting Dec 31, 2025, this opportunity involves outpatient clinical work with a day shift from 7am to 3pm and no call responsibilities. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services and monitor patient vitals in a clinical setting. This is an excellent locum opportunity for those who meet the certification and licensure requirements and are seeking a focused, short-term assignment.


Job Details

  • Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesiology
  • Schedule: Clinical day only, 7am-3pm, no call


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer anesthesia for outpatient procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic patient assessments as required
  • Collaborate closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure patient safety
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care delivered


Additional Information

  • Valid Kentucky RN license and CRNA certification required
  • Must have completed a nurse anesthesia doctoral program
  • Minimum of one year of critical care experience required
  • National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Must have successfully passed the National Certification Examination (NCE)
