Job description We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Jan 12, 2026. This position offers coverage in the main OR, handling general anesthesia cases with 8-10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. Job Details
  • Location: California
  • Start Date: Jan 12, 2026
  • LOA: 60 days
  • Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Schedule: 7:00am to 8:00am start times, Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week (exact days mutually agreed upon)

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide anesthesia care for general cases in the main operating room
  • Travel between three sites to support a wide range of anesthesia cases
  • Adhere to established anesthesia protocols and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams as needed
  • Exclude obstetrics, trauma, and pediatric patients under age 1 from case coverage
  • Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation

Additional Information
  • Must hold active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification
  • California CRNA license required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Flexibility in scheduling and site assignments as determined by the client
  • Initial contract is approved for 3 months, with potential extension to 6 months upon approval
