Position Overview
Providers will join a large anesthesia care team practicing under 4:1 supervision with exposure to a full range of cases — including OB, thoracic, vascular, ortho, GI, ENT, and healthy peds. CRNAs perform spinals and epidurals independently and participate in an 8-week rotating schedule that includes optional night or weekend call.

(Top 10% nationally), this assignment offers one of the most competitive CRNA compensation structures in the Mid-Atlantic region (based solely on 2025 provider pay data).
Assignment Highlights

Schedule: Full-time | 40–60 hrs/week guaranteed

Shift Types: 8s, 10s, and 12s (primarily days; occasional nights)

On-Call: 1 shift per 8-week schedule (night or weekend)

Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month (as needed)

Holiday: One required holiday per year | Paid 1.5x hourly

Floating: As required

Team Model: 4:1 supervision with anesthesiologists

Travel: Billable; flights prepaid for full-time clinicians (one round trip per assignment)

Orientation: 8 hours (billable at standard rate)

Skills & Experience

Required Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS (AHA)

Licensure: Active Virginia CRNA license required (or in process at time of submission)

Experience: Minimum 2 years; must have Level II trauma experience

Preferred: Pediatrics

Must be proficient in spinal and epidural anesthesia

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services for all cases except transplants

Manage OB, thoracic, and vascular cases independently

Perform and manage epidurals and spinals

Participate in scheduled call and weekend rotations

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams

Maintain compliance with departmental policies and documentation standards
