Scope of Work & Procedures
Setting: Providing anesthesia coverage for 4 Operating Rooms (ORs).
We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a full-time, ongoing Locum Tenens assignment providing dedicated coverage at an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Pennsylvania. This role offers fixed daytime hours with no call requirements.
Assignment Details

- Coverage Type: Clinic Only (Ambulatory Surgery Center)
- Call Requirement: No Call
- EMR: HST
- License: Active Pennsylvania (PA) License required.
- Credentialing Timeline: 21 Days (Expedited Privileges)
Schedule & Commitment
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM ONLY.
- Shifts/Month: Estimated 16 shifts per month (Full-time hours).
Coverage Need Details:
- Ambulatory surgery
- Full time hours for 4 ORs either Mon-Thurs or Tues - Friday
- Will accept a min of 12 shifts per month.
- Need 5 locums
- procedures: urology, ortho, plastics, optho
- We could be slightly flexible with 4x 9-hr shifts & 10 hrs.
Scope of Work & Procedures
Setting: Providing anesthesia coverage for 4 Operating Rooms (ORs).
Typical Day: Providers will rotate through ambulatory surgery center cases, covering the following specialties:
- Urology
- Orthopedics (Ortho)
- Plastics
- Ophthalmology (Optho)
Requirements
Certification: ACLS and PALS certifications are required. (Board Certification/Eligibility is typically preferred but not explicitly listed here).
