Locums CRNA Near VA Beach | Jan Start

A major health system is seeking CRNAs to cover three hospital sites, including a Level 1 trauma center. Providers work in a 1:4 care team model within a large anesthesia group. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Schedule

• 12-month assignment

• Shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours

• Minimum: 1 day/week

• Local CRNAs welcome

• Call: Beeper call (~2x/month; details pending)

Practice Details

• 3 sites: 1 Level 1 Trauma Center + 2 community hospitals

• Supervision: 100% supervised, 1:4 care team

• Team: 30+ anesthesiologists, 70+ CRNAs

• Hospital size: 700 beds

Clinical Duties CRNAs perform:

• Epidurals, spinals, arterial lines, lumbar epidural catheters

• Spinal anesthesia

CRNAs do not perform:

• Brachial plexus blocks

• Other regional blocks beyond spinal/epidural

Case Types

• Vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, ortho, general, thoracic

• Limited pediatrics (no hearts required)

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA (grandfathered acceptable)

• Level 1 trauma experience required

• Active VA license (expired acceptable if renewal/issuance within 72 hours)

• DEA not required

• Must be open to call
